SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Plymouth man who was arrested with a virtual arsenal in his car last April has been sentenced to prison.
30 year old Rafael Montanez was arrested in connection with a disturbance which occurred in the city of Sheboygan after deputies stopped his car in the Plymouth area. Inside the car they found five handguns - two of them fully loaded - a rifle, a sawed off shotgun, body armor, an electronic stun gun, knives, a leather club and several boxes of ammunition. Montanez is a convicted felon who had spent two years in prison.
He was sentenced recently in Sheboygan County Court to 2 years in prison to be followed by 3 years on extended supervision on three counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
