FOND DU LAC, WI (WHBL) - The 25 year old Sheboygan man who survived a heroin overdose at the Fond du Lac County Jail was recently arraigned. Brian Klemme pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of narcotic drugs and a 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety charge. He was originally arrested on a warrant and taken to the jail. Klemme had concealed the drug in a body cavity. A strip search at the jail failed to find the concealed drug. Officials say Klemme was having difficulty breathing and was overdosing when they checked on him later. He was taken to St. Agnes Hospital, where he was treated and released.
