SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man has been sentenced to prison for kidnapping his girlfriend and then threatening her with a knife during a one-hour ordeal last May. 20 year old Gary Mason Jr. appeared recently in Sheboygan County Court and was sentenced to 5 years in prison to be followed by 8 years on extended supervision. Mason forced his girlfriend into her car and drove to a wooded area in the city of Sheboygan, where he dragged her out of the car and then knelt on top of her, threatening her with a knife. She was able to break free and call 911. When officers located her, she was hysterical and suffering from multiple bruises and facial injuries. Mason was arrested a short time later at an apartment in the city of Sheboygan.
