PLYMOUTH, WI (WHBL) - Reaction from one area public school leader is not positive to the proposed changes to education funding in the state budget.  Plymouth Superintendent Clark Reinke said he is extremely disappointed on how the expanded private school voucher program grew from seven districts to all of Wisconsin.  He thinks in the long run, this move will be damaging to public education and be costly to taxpayers.

The budget does include an increase in state funding for each districts by 150-dollars per student each of the next two years.  Reinke says Plymouth will use the added funds efficiently, but it does not compensate the past funding cuts and the expanded voucher program.  In the end, he said this policy shows 'this is not a good day in Wisconsin.'
