SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - It's time for food fun and more at this year's Sheboygan County Fair.
This year's fair has plenty of new events and surprises, and Fair Board spokesman Bill Weinaug says they're bringing in a new Midway this year for the kids. "We also have the High Flying Pages which is an aerial show. We've got a zipline that goes over a portion of the fair so you can get a look from up above. Racing is back at the fair this year, we've got the IRA Sprint Cars Friday night, and the Dairyland Classic Motorcycles Saturday night." He says there's also more to see at the grandstand. "Sunday is the Extreme Bull Riding and Barrell racing, and Monday is our traditional Demo Derby in the afternoon."
Visitors will also be seeing some of their old favorites as well. The Grandpa Cratchett kids show will be doing daily performances, and you'll see bands from around the area at the many musical stages on the grounds. Weinaug says it's just a great event to celebrate the end of the summer. "You can meet your friends, your families, your neighbors, everybody comes out to the Fair on Labor Day weekend. You can't beat a good fair!"
The gates open at noon on Thursday and it's just $5 to get in the doors. You can find out more online at http://shebcofair.com
