SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A Milwaukee man is facing drug charges following an arrest last week in Sheboygan.
36-year-old Brian Wilson was charged on Monday with possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
According to a criminal complaint, police were called out on Friday night for a report of a suspicious vehicle driving around an apartment complex. When officers arrived, they spotted Wilson leaving that car and heading to his own vehicle in a completely different parking lot across a yard.
Police stopped Wilson to question him, and asked him for license and registration on his car because he had a number of improper registration stickers stuck to his license plate. Wilson told police he couldn't the registration and asked them to help search his car for it. While they were searching the vehicle, officers say they spotted dryer sheets and air fresheners hung around the vehicle, which they say is a sign of drug trafficking.
When officers asked to search Wilson, they say they found 500 dollars and several packages of cocaine. He allegedly admitted to police that he smoked cocaine and marijuana at the same time "so he gets both a high and a low."
Wilson is due back in court next week for a preliminary hearing.
