SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A couple is facing various drug charges after a traffic stop in Sheboygan.
24-year-old Andrew VonderVellen from Plymouth is charged with possession of narcotics as a repeater. 26-year-old Cassiopia Conlin from Milwaukee faces a charge of possession of methamphetamine as a repeater.
According to a criminal complaint, the two were passengers inside a vehicle that was pulled over for not having any license plates. Conlin initially identified herself as Chelsea Butler, even after she was pulled from the vehicle. A later check by officers correctly identified her from court records from the Milwaukee area.
Police called for Sheboygan's K9 unit, which alerted to the presence of drugs. Police say a search of the vehicle found numerous piece of paraphernalia related to meth and heroin use. After both were brought to jail, police say they found hypodermic needles, some meth and some heroin on their persons.
Conlin is being held on a $7,500 cash bond. VonderVellen is being held on a $500 cash bond. Both are due back in court for preliminary hearings on May 10th.
