SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A Plymouth man is under arrest for drug dealing after police allegedly caught him with a large amount of marijuana.
35-year-old John Prettie is charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
According to the criminal complaint, officers spotted Prettie driving the wrong way down a one way last Wednesday. They tried to pull him over, but he kept driving for a few blocks before coming to a stop. When officers came up to the car, they say they found Prettie covered in marijuana dust. They told him to get out of the vehicle, and a search found multiple bags of marijuana in different stages of processing totally around 100 grams, along with a grinder, some scales and a bong.
Prettie agreed to talk with police and told officers that all of that marijuana was for personal use and that he had the equipment was there to make sure he didn't get ripped off by dealers. Officers disagreed and took him into custody.
Prettie is free on a $250 cash bond and will be back in court today for a status conference.
