SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A Sheboygan man faces charges for allegedly wrecking his ex-girlfriend's car with a cinderblock.
36-year-old Sergio Wray pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to one count each of criminal damage to property and driving after revocation, and three counts of bail jumping.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called April 2nd after the victim called police to report the damage to her vehicle. She told them that she and Wray had been together for 17 years but that she was staying at a hotel because they were going through some rough times.
The victim's vehicle was smashed multiple times with a cinder block, damaging the front and back windshield and denting the hood.
Police reviewed security footage from the hotel, and were able to identify Wray as he drove to the parking lot, grabbed a cinder block from a pile near the hotel, and started striking the victim's vehicle.
Wray is free on a signature bond and will be back in court May 24th for a pretrial conference.
