SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A busy night at the polls for statewide elections also brought out the voters for local races in Sheboygan County.
It was a massive election and a busy night for clerks as Sheboygan County had a 69% voter turnout.
Scott Lewandoske has defeated Jodi VanderWeele-Bonnett to take a seat on the Sheboygan City Council's 5th District on a vote of 676 to 619.
Tammy Rabe also get elected for the 2nd District for a one year term as she ran unopposed for VanderWeele-Bonnett's old seat.
Sheboygan Falls will keep alderwoman Dawn Biemel who defeated challenger Robert Spatz 408-371.
Kiel's school board has a new member as incumbent President Dan Dietrich and challenger Randall Blonde defeated Mike Joas and Dan Karls.
The Village of Adell will keep all three of their incumbent trustees as Jane Schneider, Brian Barr and Kim Peterson held off a challenge from Jim Jentsch.
Oostburg has one new trustee. Jim Davies and Carl Roethel will keep their seats, and challenger Glenn Wynveen beat out John Kulow and Brian Schumacher.
Incumbent Galan Gatzke is off the Waldo Village Board as challenger Mark Spitz and incumbent Michael Hintz beat him at the polls.
