SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Three Sheboygan men received deferred prosecutions last week for their role in a fight that injured a person at a Sheboygan home back on New Year’s Day.

Judge James Bolgert sentenced 18-year-olds Xeng Xiong and Yang Vue, and 17-year-old Teng Vue, to a two year deferred prosecution term each after a charge of substantial battery was reduced to battery for all three.

The three, plus 18-year-old Krong Yang, were charged back in January after Sheboygan Police investigated a fight between the four and another male at a house party back on January 1.

According to the criminal complaint the victim, who suffered a fracture jaw due to the fight, claimed the fight broke out after the other men questioned him over alleged comments made about a family member.

Several of the people charged had different versions on the fight, including who was actually involved.

Court records show Krong Yang is still facing a substantial battery charge, and will be back in court for a scheduled plea hearing later this month.
