SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan County prosecutors charged a second person last week in connection to an attempted drug smuggling effort into the Kettle Moraine Correctional Facility back in September of 2015.
38-year-old Dunn Henderson, now an inmate at the Waupun Correctional Institution, is facing charges of delivering illegal articles to an inmate and being part of a conspiracy to commit the manufacturing/delivering of THC.
The criminal complaint states corrections officials noticed a McDonald’s cup filled with the illegal items inside a garbage can just outside the fence of the facility. They replaced those items with a dummy bag, and then they reportedly noticed Henderson, who had access to the outside of the facility through his job within the jail, take the items inside.
He was found with it after corrections officials searched him, and he reportedly said he was forced to pick up the drugs after others in the jail pushed him to do so and after a friend of his in the jail was beaten up for not picking up the drugs earlier.
He is the second person to face charges for this drug smuggling effort. 29-year-old Raymundo Gallegos was charged earlier this month for allegedly being the person responsible for getting a female to place the drugs outside the correctional facility’s fence, and then forced Henderson to bring the items inside.
