SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Cedar Grove man was given a harsher sentence after a previous sentence was revoked in connection to a theft of items and possession of cocaine.

Judge L. Edward Stengel revoked a past probation sentence for 27 year old Daniel Wulff in November, and recently ordered him to spend nine months in the local jail.

The sentence is for two counts of theft and one count of cocaine possession for two incidents back in 2013.

According to the criminal complaints, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department was called to a home in July to investigate the theft of several items, including a power drill, an automotive diagnostic scan tool, and a compound bow.  The owner of the items told investigators he got word that the items were pawned, and the person suspected Wulff because he had lived there recently.  The department also got word of two CD players taken from another home where Wulff had lived.

When interviewed, Wulff admitted to the thefts and claimed he would try to get the money needed to get the items back.

Several months later, the department was called back to the first home to continue the investigation.  Again Wulff was interviewed and, during this time, investigators found two syringes on him.  Wulff claimed it was for insulin to treat his diabetes, but a test of the items found evidence of cocaine.
