SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man has begun serving a 60 day sentence in the local jail after he committed his third OWI offense.
Reserve Judge Terrence Bourke sentenced 37 year old Joseph Weber last week to the jail time, plus 30 months of having his driver’s license revoked, followed by a requirement to use an ignition interlock for 30 months.
The charge came about after Sheboygan Police conducted a traffic stop on August 22 of a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Eighth Street.
According to the criminal complaint, Weber reportedly told police that he had a few beers prior to getting behind the wheel. He was arrested after he failed field sobriety tests.
