SHEBOYGAN, WI. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman who was stealing credit cards and then using them around Sheboygan last July and August is going to prison. 23 year old Crystal Federer stole the credit cards mostly from purses she had taken from cars and elsewhere. She then made numerous purchases, including one totaling $900 for an HD TV and video games, and another for nearly $600 for a plasma TV and other items. Police identified Federer through surveillance video. She was sentenced this week in Sheboygan County Court on charges of identity theft as a repeater to three years in prison to be followed by 3 years on extended supervision.
