SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Plymouth woman will begin serving a 30 day sentence in the local jail next month for stealing items from Fleet Farm several months ago.

27 year old Amy Marketti was sentenced last week by Judge Angela Sutkiewicz after Marketti pleaded no contest to one count each of retail theft and bail jumping.

The criminal complaint details what happened when the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department was called to Fleet Farm in Plymouth back on September 22 for a retail theft incident.

A member of the store’s Loss Prevention department told deputies they had surveillance video of Marketti taking several items, such as work gloves and wallets, from the store.  The store employee said they and the store manager approached Marketti about the thefts, but she reportedly denied taking any items and left the store.

The vehicle the two left in was identified and stopped, but before this, law enforcement noticed items being thrown from the vehicle. Those items were later identified as some of the stolen merchandise.
