SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A resolution which would clear the way for privatizing a portion of Quarryview Park will go before the Sheboygan City Council when it meets tonight. An agreement which has been recommended by the Public Works Committee would have Empire Recreation Management provide beach and water amusements in the beach area of the quarry and then charge a fee. The area opposite the beach would still be open for swimming at no charge. The council could take action tonight, but might also refer the agreement to the Committee of the Whole in an effort to get more public input on the arrangement.
