MADISON, Wis. (WHBL) - Authorities say former Marine Charles Blackmore Junior saved a pregnant woman from a violent beating. Blackmore was leaving his job in West Allis last week when he saw a man attacking the woman. Blackmore has a concealed carry permit. He stopped to help the woman and held the suspect at gunpoint until police arrived. Kenneth Harris was arrested and has been charged with battery. Harris was the pregnant victim’s boyfriend.
