SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Random Lake man will have to spend 15 years on the state’s sex offender registry as part of his sentence for sexual assault. 18 year old Eric Risch was sentenced last Friday by Judge Timothy Van Akkeren to 12 months of jail, 10 of which were imposed, and five years of probation after he pleaded no contest to third degree sexual assault.
The charge stems from an investigation by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department into an incident at the Amsterdam Beach Park in Cedar Grove in February.
An 18 year old female told investigators she was asked by Risch to meet with him at the park to talk, but while in his truck she was forced to pleasure him against her will.
When interviewed, Risch had said the sex was consensual for most of it.
