OOSTBURG, WI (WHBL) - The Village of Oostburg is ready to host its biannual Heritage Day Friday afternoon and evening. The Oostburg Area Chamber of Commerce puts on this event, which will take place on Center Avenue from 4 to 9 p.m.
Volunteer Chris Gunkel tells WHBL News it’s a family friendly event that fits everyone’s pocketbooks. "So it’s a free event; there’s no admission charges or anything, and it’s something that continues to grow. We’ve got an excellent raffle, lots of great prizes, We’ve got some top notch entertainment, and we’ve got lots of children’s activities."
Highlights include a raffle for golf packages and Packers preseason tickets, a KidZone activity area, and music from local groups and Tommy Greywolf, who is best known for his work with the former country duo Brooks and Dunn.
Events wrap up with a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
