TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN FALLS, WI (WHBL) - One person died in a two vehicle accident in the Town of Sheboygan Falls Thursday evening. It occurred just after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 32 and County Road J.
The State Patrol says a 23 year old Cleveland man driving a Chevy Silverado pick-up failed to stop at a stop sign as he headed west on County Road J. That caused him to collide with a 1968 Chevrolet Convertible, driven by a 71 year old Sheboygan man. The convertible spun out and ended up in a ditch.
The Sheboygan man died at the scene, while the Cleveland man suffered no injuries.
The State Patrol says both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, and charges could be filed against the pick-up driver.
An investigation by the State Patrol continues. Names are expected to be released Friday afternoon.
