Sheboygan, WI (WHBL) - 66 year old Roberto Figueroa of Sheboygan is charged with second degree sexual assault.
In a criminal complaint filed in Sheboygan County Court Thursday, Sheboygan police say the alleged victim, age 31, suffers from a mental deficiency and, therefore, could not have consented to the act.
According to the complaint the woman’s mother became suspicious after she was unable to reach her during their daily check-ins. Figueroa denies the allegations and tells police that the woman “Needed help to find the woman within.”
If convicted, Figueroa could face up to 40 years in prison or fines of up to $100,000.00
