SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man is expected to be formally charged later today in connection with a stabbing which occurred over the weekend during a disturbance in a north side apartment.  Police said the 51 year old suspect with an extensive criminal record was taken into custody at the scene about 11:30 on Friday night.  Sgt. Brad Riddiough said an officer observed the victim, a 42 year old Sheboygan man, lying in the bushes at Starbuck’s Coffee Shop at 14th and Erie.  He told officers he had just been stabbed in the back with a large knife at a home in the 1400 block of Erie Avenue.  The victim was airlifted to Froedert in Milwaukee and listed in stable condition at last report.  Officers then went to the home and arrested the suspect.  Riddiough said the two men knew each other and alcohol may be a factor.
