Sheboygan, WI (WHBL) – Sheboygan Police are investigating the cause of a series of accidents that began at the intersection of 9th Street and Superior Avenue, and ended at Geele Avenue . The accidents happened just before 1am.
Witnesses tell WHBL News that the driver of a silver sedan struck at least three vehicles along the route before his vehicle crashed into a fire hydrant near 9th Street and Geele Avenue.
Two people were transported to local hospitals as result of injuries sustained in the accidents. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening . Sheboygan Police Lieutenant Doug Teunissen tells WHBL News that one of the drivers is suspected of being intoxicated .
