SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The prosecution finished presenting its case Wednesday in the Dorian Torres trial.

The first witness to the stand was forensic pathologist Doctor Mark Witeck, who said his medical opinion on how Emilio Torres was killed was due to at least five strikes to the head.

He was followed by several people from the State Crime Lab, who analyzed DNA evidence submitted from the apartment where Emilio and his son Dorian lived.  They found Dorian’s DNA was on several of the items that were connected to those used to wrap Emilio’s body after his death.

The final two witnesses for the prosecution, including the investigation’s lead detective Joel Clark, offered testimony and evidence to establish an alibi for Vincente Martinez, Dorian’s brother.

Martinez is expected to testify for the defense as a character witness on Thursday, and Dorian himself may take the stand.

Closing arguments are scheduled for Thursday afternoon, and then Judge Terence Bourke will decide if Dorian is guilty or innocent of killing his father.
