Sheboygan, WI (WHBL) - Nearly seven thousand households were still in the dark late Monday as strong storms rolled through parts of Wisconsin. Many remained without power well into early Tuesday. More than 2,500 households were without power until at least 1am. Throughout the day, some 38 thousand electricity customers were without power.
The immediate Sheboygan area was unaffected.
During the height of the storm, which downed trees and power lines, roughly 35 cities in the state suffered power outages.
According to the Wisconsin Public Services’ website, the areas most affected by widespread outages were: Schofield , Hatley, Ringle, Gleason, Tomahawk, and Eagle River
