SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan Police Department is looking for a strong armed robbery suspect following a Monday evening incident involving a cab driver.
Police say the suspect was picked up in the area of N. 9th Street and Erie Ave. by a taxi between 7:15 pm and 7:40 pm and was taken to Sommers Trailer Court in the 4500 block of S. 12th Street and arrived there at approximately 7:56 pm.
There, the suspect attacked the driver and got away with an unknown amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6' to 6'02", skinny, darker complexion with a gaunt face and a mole or birthmark below his left eye, with patchy facial hair.
The suspect was wearing a dark colored baseball cap with unknown sports emblem on it, dark blue jeans and a black sweatshirt with an unknown logo on it. He is not believed to be armed.
Witnesses say officers interviewed several people at the trailer park as they searched for the suspect.
