
Sheboygan, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan Police Officer was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, following a footchase Sunday night.
A press release issued by Sheboygan Police Sergeant Terry Meyer says the foot pursuit began after a suspect fled from a traffic stop. Meyer says the suspect resisted arrest - causing minor injuries to the police officer.
The unidentified officer was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated and released. Police say the male suspect was taken into custody, charged with operating while intoxicated, and resisting arrest.
