SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - Final details are being worked out for the trial later this month of an elderly Sheboygan woman charged in the death of her infant daughter 54 years ago. Judge Angela Sutkiewicz held the final pre-trial hearing in Sheboygan County Court Thursday morning. Efforts to reach a plea agreement in the case had been unsuccessful and 76 year old Ruby Klokow, charged with 2nd degree murder, is scheduled to go on trial beginning February 25th. The trial is expected to last a week. Klokow was charged after her adult son came forward and provided Sheboygan police with information about the death of the infant. Following a two year investigation, Klokow was arrested and charged just over two years ago. She’s been free on bail, awaiting the trial.
