
SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery at the Pig Stop convenience store Sunday morning.
Captain Kurt Brasser says the department got word of the robbery just before 11 a.m. The cashier tells police a male entered the North 15th Street store, physically assaulted her, removed cash from a safe, then left. The cashier was not injured.
The suspect is described as being between the ages of 20 and 25, and stands five-foot seven to five-foot ten inches tall. He was wearing jeans and a hooded sweatshirt with the word "NIKE" on it. The suspect was also wearing a hat with the hood of the sweatshirt covering it.
Brasser says the investigation into the robbery is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 459-3333.
