SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Two Sheboygan County residents had criminal charges proceed to possible trial this past week.
29 year old Devin Henry pleaded not guilty Friday to nine charges he faces, which include battery, strangulation and suffocation, intimidating victim by damage property, false imprisonment and bail jumping. The Sheboygan Falls man is accused of a domestic fight with his girlfriend at her Eisner Court apartment April 25, causing minor injuries and property damage. He has court hearings scheduled for June with a possible jury trial July 7.
On Thursday, 26 year old Jasmine Risler pleaded not guilty to two burglary felonies. The Sheboygan woman was charged last month for her alleged role in the 2011 burglaries of the Happy Hearts and Handprints Childcare Center and Playa Acapulco. Risler was connected to the crimes when the State Crime Lab identified her hair root that was collected as evidence. She too has court hearings scheduled for June with a possible jury trial July 7.
