SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan Falls man will be serving time in jail for his fifth OWI offense. Mark Katt entered a no contest plea this week to the charge connected to the offense, and Judge L. Edward Stengel found him guilty.
Prosecutors say the 66 year old was driving back home last November when someone noticed his vehicle traveling erratically in the Town of Sheboygan. Sheboygan County Sheriff officials investigated, and found Katt at home with the look and smell of someone slightly intoxicated. Katt blamed the erratic driving due to being tired.
Judge Stengel sentenced Katt to six months in jail and three years probation. Katt will also have his license revoked for three years and must use an ignition interlock for three years.
