
SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - This week's "A Closer Look" program takes a look at the upcoming spring elections for Sheboygan County.

Below is a rundown of competitive ballot races in Sheboygan County:
Sheboygan County Circuit Court:
Branch 4: Judge Terrence Bourke retiring. Those running include Sheboygan/Kohler Municipal Judge Catherine Delahunt and Circuit Court Commissioner Rebecca Persick.
City of Sheboygan Races:
District 4: One ballot challenger Job Hou-Seye, two write-ins Matt Wierzbach and Ted Bingham.
District 5: Incumbent Billy Thiel is challenged by Scott Lewandoske
Sheboygan Area School District: Three spots with two incumbents running for re-election (Barbara Tuszynski and Ryan Burg). Incumbent John Hill not running. Three challengers also running (Peter Madden, Mary Beth Martin and Dennis Schmideler) and all will run in April.
City of Sheboygan Falls:
District 1: Incumbent Anne Krauter facing challenge from Alan Mayer (Meyer)
District 2: Incumbent Dan Krueger not running, two running include Peter Weber and Thomas McCue Jr.
Sheboygan Falls School District: Two seats are open this spring. Incumbent Peter Beise is not running, but Mark Debbink is. Challengers include Jami Shircel and Adam Arnhoelter.
Village of Howards Grove: Village President has incumbent Jim Scheiber facing challenge from trustee Ed Phal. Phal is also running for trustee seat, only one running for three seats. Current trustee Jeff Plass is not running.
Village of Oostburg: For the village board, three incumbent: Glen Wynveen, Steve Eggebeen, and Brian Hilbelink, and one challenger: Peter Scheppmann, are running for three seats.
Cedar Grove-Belgium School District: Incumbents Todd Bucher, Jim Lautenschlaeger, and Jeff Thiel are leaving. Only one person is running, Laura Schiefser.
Village of Kohler: Four people are running for three trustee positions; the incumbents Bill Kunst, Charles Keller and Brian Post, and challenger Mike Zimmerman.
Village of Random Lake: Two are running for president. Incumbent Robert McDermott faces challenge from trustees Matthew Brockmeier. Four are running for three trustee seats. Two are incumbents, Elizabeth Manian and Barbara Ruege, and two are challengers, Mike SanFelippo and Erin Stowell.
Village of Adell: Four are running for three Trustee positions: incumbents John Brem, Arush Chahal, and Andy Birenbaum, and challenger Jim Jenpsch.
Town of Plymouth: Town board chairperson is Warren Laudke, replacing James Lubach. Four people are running for two supervisor seats. Two are incumbents: Ray Gremminger and Glen Kruschke, and two are challengers: Zach Hanke and John Capelle.
Town of Scott: Chairperson Randy Narbatovics is running unopposed. Three are running for two seats. One is an incumbent: Kenneth Willkomm, and the other two are challengers: Dale Burke and Larry Laux.
Town of Wilson: Chairperson David Gartman is challenged by John Ehmann. Four challengers are trying to win two supervisors seats; Tom Stoelb, Brian Hoffman, John Ehmann, and Thomas Kultgen.
