SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Two of the five people running for three seats on the Sheboygan Area School District’s Board of Education are seeking re-election. One of them is Barbara Tuszynski, who has been on the SASD board for the past 19 years.
She tells WHBL News she wants to stay on so that the board has the experience to handle the challenges it faces. "I have a vast amount of experience," says Tuszynski. "I have people come up to me (and) thank me for my years of service and the kind of things I do on the board."
Tuszynski says a top concern for her is the budget and how to come up with a way to ensure the district has adequate funding for its services and capital improvements. She also would like to see the success of Red Raider Manufacturing and flex-mod scheduling at South High School.
