SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan County Deer Advisory Council will hold its next meeting Monday evening.
Chairman Ed Harvey Jr. says the council will be reviewing deer population data to set guidelines for hunts this fall. "We’ll be making recommendations as to how many antlerless permits should be issued for public and private lands for the fall hunt," says Harvey.
Harvey says it’s all part of reaching the population goal that local residents said they wanted. "There was overwhelming indication that the public wanted to see an increase. They did not want to see up maintaining at the current level or backing off," says Harvey.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Camp Y-Koda
