SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - What's next for Aurora now that the Sheboygan Area School District will sell them the west side of Field of Dreams North?
Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center President Dave Graebner says there are several steps still needed to be completed before construction. "To go through the city zoning process and the D-N-R review that was discussed (Tuesday)," says Graebner. "For us to move forward with construction of the east fields."
Aurora has agreed to replace the fields they are displacing with new facilities across Taylor Drive and at Butzen Farms, along with improving several city parks
Graebner also says Aurora will be talking with people living around Field of Dreams North as they proceed with their new outpatient surgery and medical office buildings. "Hearing the dialogue with the neighbors, I think, is something that we’re committed to continue to kind of work through the issues and dynamics we can create," says Graebner.
Graebner says an advisory committee is being established to address these matters, and ask anyone interested in joining to contact them.
