UNDATED (WHBL) - Local state legislators had positive reactions for Governor Scott Walker’s State of the State Address.
Senator Devin LeMahieu says he is encouraged that Walker wants to consolidate several state agencies, with a focus to seek efficiencies in government whenever possible. LeMahieu says he will consider all such proposals carefully to ensure they are a good deal for state taxpayers.
Assemblyman Terry Katsma says he is enthusiastic about the future Walker presented in his speech. He is eager to collaborate with Walker on the issues of job creation, reducing unnecessary government regulations, and improving schools in the state.
