SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan has completed its latest changes.
Of the nearly three million dollars spent over the past months, more than half went to a new wave simulator called “The Riptide." General Manager David Sanderson says it will make the indoor water park more appealing to older visitors. "This is an attraction that’s geared toward the ten-year-old to adult," says Sanderson. Other changes include an expansion of the resort’s spa options and fitness center.
Sanderson says it’s all part of the vision property owners have for Blue Harbor since new owners took control in 2011. "The overall end game has been to broaden the appeal of the resort beyond just a water park to also emphasize the group and conference offerings of the property, and overall resort amenities," says Sanderson.
Sanderson says reaction to all the changes has been positive, and more are coming this summer.
