SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman is facing identity theft charges for getting a credit card under another person’s name.
Sheboygan County prosecutors say 37-year-old Tammie Cooper was successful in getting a PayPal credit card under the name of the person who hired her as a housekeeper. Prosecutors add Cooper has tried more than a dozen times since November of 2013 to get cards from Discover, Capital One and American Express using names and social security numbers from tax forms she stole from where she was a housekeeper.
When Sheboygan Police asked Cooper why she committed the alleged crimes, Cooper said she did it to get back at her.
