SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan North High School will honor its first resident artist with an exhibition next month. Works done by Mel Kolstad during an 18-week residency at the school will be on display for the public at the school’s gallery January 9 from 3:45 to 5 p.m.
Kolstad, a Fond du Lac resident, was the first artist to be selected for the school’s Artist in Residence program. Kolstad has spent her time at the school working with teachers to create hands-on art projects and activities to reinforce classroom instruction and enrichment.
