
SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - The special election schedule is set to find the replacement for Glenn Grothman in the state legislature.
The Congressman-elect has submitted his resignation from his 20th Senate district seat January 3rd. This allowed Governor Scott Walker to set the special election schedule to follow the upcoming spring election schedule.
All candidates interested in the seat must submit signatures to get on the ballot by January 6. So far three people have said they would run as Republicans; Ralph Prescott, Lee Schlenvogt, and Duey Stroebel. Any necessary primaries will be held February 17th, and the general election for this spring is April 7.
