SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan Area School District will be getting over $300,000 less in general state aid this school year. District Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operation Services Mark Boehlke says they were expecting this, only a few thousand dollars off from earlier estimates. He adds they were under budget for the 2013-14 school year due to low medical claims.
Boehlke said less state aid will increase the amount of money paid by district residents with the local levy. The budget is expected to be approved by the school board at their next meeting on the 28th.
