SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - With a second nurse now diagnosed with the Ebola virus, the question now is would Sheboygan County be ready for such a situation? WHBL News asked County Administrator Adam Payne, who said he is reasonably confident that the county would be ready, it is not something he can be 100-percent sure of today.
Payne says now is the time for local hospitals to look into the possibility of handling a potential Ebola crisis. He added people in medical care, both public and private, should be researching about the virus so that plans are in place to handle a case if it occurs in the county. He does feel that over the next days and weeks, the county will be 100 percent ready.
