SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Democratic candidate running for the 27th Assembly seat this fall says he has the life experiences and the moderate political mindset to replace Steve Kestell.
Scott Heinig, on Sheboygan’s Morning News Wednesday, says having served on school boards and having jobs in the education, manufacturing and hospitality/retail sectors make him ready to tackle the issues the state Legislature will address next session. He would like to serve several terms and help provide some change, direction and leadership in solving the problems in state government.
Heinig said one of his focuses will be on education, but overall he will take on the issues that his constituents want him to focus on and do so in an equitable manner, making the legislation and the controls they create simple, fair and realistic.
Heinig faces Republican Tyler Vorpagel in the November 4 election. The full interview with Heinig can be heard by clicking on the audio link above.
