SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Over 500 families in Sheboygan County got food assistance from a mobile pantry Tuesday. For the third year, UnitedHealthcare teamed with Feeding America Wisconsin for their “Dinner is on Us” event in Plymouth and Sheboygan. UnitedHealthcare Senior Community Engagement Specialist Renee Ladewig-Lathrop said they hope to help those who may be BadgerCare customers under their Community Plan live healthier lives by combating obesity and food insecurity. Families received items such as frozen chicken, fruits, vegetables, and bread. There were also representatives from Aurora present that provided blood pressure checks and information about their services.
