SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Milwaukee woman who was stealing iPads and iPods from Sheboygan’s two Wal-Mart Stores in July of last year has been sentenced to prison. 25 year old Ashley Lewis and two companions were implicated in the ensuing investigation and identified through surveillance video. Authorities said they had stolen 5 iPads, 4 iPods and a flat screen TV valued at nearly $6,000 to sell for drug money. Lewis was sentenced this week by Judge Timothy Van Akkeren to 18 months in prison to be followed by 2 years on extended supervision. Earlier this year 43 year old Latrice Woods was sentenced to two years in prison for her role in the thefts.
