SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man faces a felony robbery charge for allegedly attacking a person and stealing money from him last month.

According to the criminal complaint, 24 year old Curtis Britton was one of several men to attack a 42 year old man on Eisner Court just after midnight on July 12th.  The victim said he was heading to his girlfriend’s apartment after drinking at a bar when her children refused to let him in.  He was then assaulted by two black males, and had several hundred dollars taken from his wallet.

Sheboygan Police talked to Britton about the incident this week.  He said he only touched the victim once and that it was a person he was with who did most of the attacking and stealing of cash.  Britton faces up to 17 years in prison if found guilty of the charge.
