OOSTBURG, WI (WHBL) - Two people doing target practice at a Village of Oostburg residence caused some to think a shooting was happening.
Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Sgt. Doug Tuttle said the department got word late Monday morning of the sound of shots fired and a report of a bullet striking a garage. The shots continued as authorities arrived, prompting them to ask those nearby to stay indoors and close to the floor. A short while later, authorities found the two who were firing the weapons and gave the all-clear signal.
Tuttle says no one was harmed and an investigation is ongoing.
