SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan Fire Department was on the scene of its second house fire this week in the city of Sheboyan Wednesday night.  Firefighters were dispatched to a two-story home in the 1700 block of Erie Avenue around 8:15.  Battalion Chief Gary Kolberg said they encountered flames and heavy black smoke coming from the second floor.  Kolberg said everyone had gotten out safely, although one tenant was hospitalized for treatment of smoke inhalation.  Firefighters extinguished the blaze, but not before the home was extensively damage.  Kolberg said damage is estimated at $58,000 and the cause remains under investigation.  He said seven people were displaced by the fire and are being assisted by the Red Cross.  Firefighters extinguished a fire in a home on Indiana Avenue on Monday morning.
