SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man faces a number of charges for causing a disturbance at his Sheboygan residence last Friday night that included a fired gun.  County prosecutors charged 46 year old Jeffery Nytsch Monday with recklessly endangering safety, possessing a firearm while intoxicated, and strangulation/suffocation.

According to the criminal complaint, the man’s teenage daughter called her grandfather to come to the residence on the 1400 block of North 17th Street after noticing her father was drunk and threatened to shoot her mother in the foot.   This led to a confrontation in the kitchen area where Nytsch made more threats with the gun and strangled the daughter.  The gun was fired, but no one was hurt.  The grandfather eventually got on top of Nytsch until police arrived.

Nytsch faces over 55 years in prison if found guilty of all charges.
